The Vacheron Constantin is at SIHH with five new models for the Overseas and the introduction of three new caliber movements. All these models bear the “Hallmark of Geneva” and are fitted with a mechanism for easily interchanging between bracelets and strap.
The “Vacheron Constantin Overseas Chronograph” is the result of a five year development project. This timepiece with a 42mm case is available in either stainless steel or 18k pink gold. Each stainless steel model is delivered with three interchangeable forms of clasping the watch to your wrist. A steel bracelet with an easy-fit system and some rubber and leather straps, with a stainless steel folding clasp. While the pink gold models come with two straps, one in leather and another in rubber, both fitted with an interchangeable pink gold folding clasp.
The dial on this watch blends subtle shades of polished and satin finishes, topped by a double glare-proofed sapphire crystal. A translucent lacquer is used for coating, which intensifies the depth and light effects. The dial alternates between sun-brushed, snailed and velvety finishes. The gold hands and hour index markers are luminescent, with a gold ornamental fillet surrounding the inner bezel ring and redesigned Arabic numerals for enhanced legibility.
This “Vacheron Constantin Overseas Chronograph” (Ref#: 5500V/110A-B148) is powered by a self-winding movement, caliber 5200, with 54 jewels and 263 moving parts. Mounted to this watch is the option of a steel bracelet with pushbuttons featuring remarkable finishes, such as being domed with a satin-finished center, adorned with a discreet Maltese cross pattern and its inner angles are polished. Or you can opt for a rubber strap with a textured motif, inspired by the iconic Vacheron Constantin emblem.
The “Vacheron Constantin Overseas” takes it back to the basics by displaying: hours, minutes, seconds and date. It comes in a 41mm case made of stainless steel or 18k pink gold with a transparent screwed-down caseback revealing the movement, with its 22k gold oscillating weight adorned with a wind rose. The dial for this watch is available in sunburst blue or silver-toned, with white-gold luminescent hands and hour-markers.
This “Vacheron Constantin Overseas” (Ref#: 4500V/110A-B128) is powered by a self-winding mechanical movement, caliber 5100, with 37 jewels and 172 moving parts. Power reserve on this timepiece can last up to 60 hours.
For those who prefer something more compact, but still flashy, you can opt for the “Vacheron Constantin Overseas small model”. This watch bears 84 round-cut diamonds, set on its six-sided bezel. The 37mm case can be had in either stainless steel or 18k pink gold. While the dial is available in rosy beige or blue.
This “Vacheron Constantin Overseas Small Model” (Ref#: 2305V/100A-B170) is powered by a self-winding mechanical movement, caliber 5300, with 31 jewels and 128 moving parts. Power reserve on this timepiece can last up to 44 hours.
Then there’s the “Vacheron Constantin Overseas Ultra-Thin Perpetual Calendar”, which introduces more complications, like moon-phases and a perpetual calendar. This watch comes in a 41mm case made of 18k white gold. The dial is colored grey with blue highlights, while the sapphire crystal exhibition case allows to see the movement.

Last but not least the Swiss manufacturer has issued the “Vacheron Constantin Overseas Ultra-Thin” with a more simple, stripped down look. The slim 40mm case is made of 18k white gold. The grey dial has an elegant feel, highlighted by the luminescent gold hands and hour index markers.
