Back in 2018 Tudor expanded its “Heritage Black Bay” model line with a steel edition, followed up almost immediately by a two-tone steel and 18k yellow gold. Trends go in cycle and it seems Tudor is set on riding the two-tone wave with this instant classic “Tudor Heritage Black Bay S&G”.

Another welcomed back classic was the quasi “Pepsi” bezel that Tudor presented at Baselworld 2018. For those that can’t afford or find the new coveted “Rolex GMT-Master II” (Ref#: 126710BLRO) with the celebrated “Pepsi” bezel, this slightly different colored red hue on the Tudor version is an exceptional alternative. Just take a look closer look at the “Tudor Black Bay GMT” (Ref#: 79830RB) with the classic bezel here.

As for the new two-tone Tudor it comes in a 41mm case made of stainless-steel with a polished finish and a solid case back. Mounted to the case is an 18k yellow gold unidirectional rotating bezel with a 60-minute graduated matte black anodized aluminium disc, featuring gold marking and numerals.

It also comes equipped with an 18k yellow golf screw-down winding crown, with the Tudor rose logo engraved and lacquered in black, plus a black anodized aluminium winding crown tube. All topped by a domed sapphire crystal that also assists with water-resistance on this watch being able to reach up to 200 meters (660 feet).

Time is exhibited on either a black or champagne dial with round hour index markers, plus a rectangular marker for the 6 0’clock position and a triangular shape at the 12 o’clock position. While circling around the circumference of the dial is a black railroad motif ring of minute index marker for the champagne dial; and colored gold on the black dial version.

The 18k gold central hour and minute “snowflaked” shaped hands, a piece of the thinner seconds hand, the round hour index markers and other shapes have all been fitted with a luminescent coating, for an enhanced legibility. There is also a white date aperture on both the distinctly colored dials, at the 3 o’clock position.
