Decades are always milestones worth celebrating and TAG Heuer has embraced the occasion to release a fine looking “Monaco” edition. This time around the occasion is the 40th anniversary of “The Hour Glass”, which is one of the world’s leading luxury watch retail stores throughout the Asia Pacific region.

The 39mm square case is made of black PVD steel with a sapphire case back, which allows to view the inner workings of the mechanical movement.

It comes equipped with two push-pieces on the right-side, while the setting-crown has been placed on the left-side, which may make this watch sought out by lefties. Water-resistance on this watch can reach up to 100 meters (330 feet).

Time is exhibited on a beige opalin dial with red index markers, followed by a ring of black printed minute index markers. There are two sub-dials: a sub-seconds at the 3 o’clock position and a 30-minute counter at the 9 o’clock position. There is also a date aperture at the 6 o’clock spot.
