For those seeking out exclusive timepieces Jaeger-LeCoultre is rolling out their previously announced “Atelier Reverso” program. It had been announced during the 85th anniversary of the Reverso model last year, but is now receiving a new push to create awareness.

This initiative allows horologists who appreciate the Reverso model to customize it to their liking. There are dozens of dial and strap options that come to mind, but Jaeger-LeCoultre claims there are an astonishing 5277 possible combinations. Now, that’s enough options to leave anyone lost in thought, as they swap through color-schemes in their imagination.

The 47mm case is made of stainless-steel with two faces, which explains its “Duo” moniker and allows for two time-zones. Although many innovating colors are being introduced here, the case design has been left untampered with, preserving its already established iconic finishes. Water-resistance on this timepiece can reach up to 30 meters.

And JLC just seems to keep adding more possibilities as they now unveil three new dial options for the “Reverso Classic Duo Small Second”. On these pieces time is exhibited in 3 different dial options: blue, green or orange with stainless-steel applied hour index markers and hands. A railroad track minute index marker ring, forms a circle in the midst of the dial. There is also a small second’s indicator at the 6 o’clock position, surrounded by a 24-hour counter with the Arabic numerals: 6, 12, 18 and 24.

Jaeger-LeCoultre actually has given these dial colors unique names: “electric blue” for the blue; “military marble” for the green and “Tiger’s eye” for the orange toned model. Other refinements to the dial include: a vertical brushed finish on the main watch dial; a hand-guilloche center; and the hands have been slightly blued. Overall it has a vintage Art Deco vibe emanating from it. While the flipside of this Reverso offers a second Travel Time dial with a Clous de Paris engraving and the useful day/night indication.
