Back to the races it seems for Bell & Ross as they roll out three new models associated to their Renault Sport Formula One partnership. All of these new “RS18” models feature a “thumb grip” cut out on the right side of the case. Plus they are also releasing a limited edition BR-X1 model with a tourbillon.

We’ve been fans of these yellow highlighted timepieces since the first model of this Bell & Ross and Renault alliance came out in 2016. Since those initial “BR-X1 RS16” models we reviewed here; we’ve followed up with “BR 03-94 RS17” here; and find these automobile themed watches have brought a much welcomed diversity to the brand.

Starting off the new offerings we have this 42mm circle in square case made of microblasted titanium with a solid case back and exposed screws on each of its four corners. Comes equipped with red anodized aluminum pushers and a setting crown in-between them. Topped by a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, which assists with water-resistance on this watch reaching up to 100 meters (330 feet).

The central hands and Arabic numerals have all undergone a luminescent coating, for an enhanced legibility. There is also a date aperture between the 4 and 5 o’clock positions.
