They have been quite active this year and once again Bell & Ross return to the horology market with another variant color scheme and theme for their “BR-X1” model. As they introduce the new “White Hawk” collection with two new models, one of which equipped with a tourbillon movement.

We’ve already written about other Bell & Ross timepieces with similar aesthetics and in particular this exact model. Now the new “White Hawk” comes in the iconic Bell & Ross circle in a square 45mm case made of micro-blasted titanium and matt white ceramic with grey rubber inserts. It has a solid case back with a partial transparent opening in a tinted sapphire crystal, with a centered view on the balance of the mechanical movement’s workings. Equipped with two grey rocker-style push-buttons on the right-side of the case with a setting-crown in between them. Topped by a sapphire crystal that assists with water-resistance on this timepiece reaching up to 100 meters (325 feet).

Time is exhibited on a skeletonized dial with metal applique hour index markers, followed by a white insert ring with small black minute index markers, and finally a tachymeter scale circling around the dial nearing the bezel. There are two sub-dials: a small sub-seconds with white hand and markers at the 3 o’clock position; and a red ring 30-minute counter with white markings and Arabic numerals at the 9 o’clock position. The metal hour index markers and hands have undergone a luminescent filling, for enhanced legibility. There is also a white date aperture with grey Arabic numerals at the 6 o’clock position.

Bell & Ross BR-X1 White Hawk Chronograph

This “Bell & Ross BR-X1 White Hawk Chronograph” (Ref#: BRX1-WHC-TI) is powered by a self-winding mechanical movement, caliber BR-CAL.313 with 56 jewels and 28,800 vph. Equipped with a ‘X’-shaped upper bridge and skeleton chronograph. Power reserve on this timepiece can last up to 42 hours, when fully wound.

Mounted to the watch is a bi-material: grey rubber and grey calfskin strap, secured to the wrist by a satin-polished stainless-steel buckle with a rubber insert. This is a limited edition watch with only 250 manufactured pieces. This is a more exclusive limited edition watch with only 20 manufactured pieces. Next up we zoom in on the tourbillon option also with an iconic Bell & Ross circle in square 45mm case made of micro-blasted titanium and matt white ceramic with grey rubber inserts. It has a transparent sapphire crystal case back with an anti-reflective coating, which allows to view the inner workings of the mechanical movement. Equipped with a grey rocker-style mono-pusher, on the right-side of the case. Topped by a sapphire crystal that assists with water-resistance on this timepiece reaching up to 100 meters (325 feet).

Time is exhibited on a skeletonized dial with metal applique hour index markers, followed by a white insert ring with small black minute index markers, and finally another white rind with Arabic numerals for every five minute increment. There are two sub-dials: a sub-seconds with an inner white ring with Arabic numerals and a red outer ring with white minute index markers in between the 1 and 2 o’clock positions; plus a 30-minute counter with a red inner ring with white minute index markers and an outer white ring with Arabic numerals in between the 9 and 11 o’clock positions.

The metal hour index markers and hands have undergone a luminescent filling, for enhanced legibility. And the tourbillon movement can be seen in all its glory at the 6 o’clock position with the Bell & Ross ampersand logo in its midst.

This “Bell & Ross BR-X1 Tourbillon White Hawk” (Ref#: BRX1-CHTB-WHC) is powered by a hand-wound mechanical movement caliber BR-CAL.283 with 35 jewels, 282 components and 21,600 vph. Power reserve on this timepiece can last up to 96 hours (4 days), when fully wound.
